Andrea was born in Brescia in 1985. He's been playing guitar since the very beginning of his experience with music as he was 15 years old, but he was already a careful listener of guitar virtuosos: his first love with the instrument happened with "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits. He's always been a good artistic companion for Fabio, which has frequently shared his musical ideas with him.
Andrea plays both electric and acoustic guitars and likes finding strange and suggestive parts to play relentlessly. Frequently he uses a capo to find different intonation standards, as well as alternative tunings. He plays a 1981 Fender Stratocaster (Transparent Red finish, with hardtail bridge), a Fender Stratocaster MiM loaded with a Texas Special pickup set and a custom lacquered neck, a fm Guitars Tele-style guitar powered with a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1 neck pickup, a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar, a fm Guitars Tele with custom pickups and a Yamaha acoustic guitar with custom amplification system. Andrea exclusively uses Boss effects, Ernie Ball and GHS strings, Fender amplification systems and a Layolo ROM S-24 valvestate combo, passed as a gift by an old uncle who played it back in the 60's.
Andrea likes Mina's voice and David Gilmour's solos (funny enough, Andrea loves the way Gilmour express feelings through his face as he performs); he likes looking at things from the above perspective, drinking beer and watching Woody Allen's movies. His musical dream is to work on a film OST... time will tell! He deeply hates untruthful people, mathematics and soups.
